All trash and recycling is to be put out at the curbside on the appropriate evening before pick-up at the very earliest! All trash cans and recycling bins are to be picked-up as soon as possible after being emptied on the day of pick-up. This should not be any later than the evening after you get home from work on the day of pick-up.
Pick-Up Schedule:
- Trash is picked-up early on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
- Recycling is picked up early Friday morning only.
Holiday Schedule:
Neither trash nor recycling will be picked up on Christmas, New Year’s Day, or 4th of July if those days fall on a scheduled pick-up day (Tues. or Fri.). Make-up dates will be announced on the Winterport website during the applicable holiday seasons. If you do not see the information at that time, you can contact a Board Member, go to the American Disposal website, or call American Disposal (703) 368-0500 for further details and scheduling.
