One of Reston’s best perks is its trails.There are over 55 miles of paved and naturalsurface pathways (with 95 bridges)winding throughout Reston’s open spaces— 800 acres of common ground featuringwoods, meadows and wetlands. Not onlydo these pathways provide a great place toexercise and get some fresh air, they alsoconnect neighborhoods, recreation areasand shopping centers.Lake Thoreau is no exception, its 2.1miles take you by lake Thoreau and LakeAudubon, playgrounds, the golf course,and to South Lakes Village Center.
